I think highly favored little miss sunshine has a lot up her sleeve so I'd better gear up and move out.

Move my big butt and get going.

The Year when it ALL Changes! For the BETTER, of course!

Never would I think that so many things will change in just a year.

Well, a year is a very long time for some people. But when I look at myself last January, I was just like any other person, seeing 2010 as another year to spend time with the people I love, to work and absolutely, in every essence of it all, enjoy life.

Then a turn of events changed how I think, and the same way, change how I see this New Year. Year 2011 is the year when it all changes for me, and for the lovely highly favored miss sunshine.

January of last year, I was only excited to see little miss sunshine, when she would come back from her festive time with the family.

I also saw January as a start to improve myself in the physical aspect.

It was also the time when I'd start to SAVE for the future trips that I will have with my beloved family (they did happen, Pampanga, Tagaytay, Boracay, CDO, Cebu, Hong Kong).

That's about it.

Spend time with my family.

Fall so much more in love with HFMS.

Be lean and mean (note: it did happen, for a brief period of time)

Work even more.

But then, I saw how, ultimately, I needed to change. For the better.

A fateful trip to Cebu and a book that I would read instead of the SMILE magazine we have on the plane. To come across just two words, would change my perspective and goals in life.

I saw them. Those two words. Financial Freedom. And there it all started (or after we got back from the trip).

There was a hunger for learning, a thirst for knowledge.

I wanted to see the change in me that will brilliantly translate to me being financially free and being able to enjoy life, the following days of it, with the people I love, without any worries.

Being able to help people in every possible way that I can.

So now, I am very much excited to reach new heights with a whole new year ahead of me. I look at it differently now. There's still spending time with my family, helping other people, falling deeper in love and enjoying life.

However, there are a lot of seeds to plant and nurture. There are things to visualize, and attract and believe in.

This will be one of those blogs that you will check out a few years from today and roll on the floor, laughing! I mean laughing your ass off!

This blog is for the sole purpose of updating you with the challenges that me, greentag, and my beloved, highly favored miss sunshine have set for ourselves. Better yet, challenges in which we compete with each other!

It can be anything under the sun, I mean anything people.

Like when you tell your classmate,

"You know what, let's decide who is better at math!"

"Oh yeah, how?"

"Math exam, this Thursday!"

"Man, you are so ON!"

OR

Like when you and your romantic partner (specifics) have a bet;

Which team will win the NBA Finals? :D

"Love, I think it's Miami."

"I'll go with Lakers still"

"It's a deal then, Love."

"Deal! You are so on!"

(okay, that might be sort of short selling the magnitude of this blog but you get the point)

Studies show that a healthy competition between loved ones, especially those in a romantic relationship, makes the bond stronger!

We will keep you posted with the various "challenges" that we will have!
